The Esquiline is proud to provide many faith-focused activities for our senior residents. Founded by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate and situated on the campus of the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, there is a deliberate focus on spirituality and faith at The Esquline.
Now it’s time to focus on you. You’ve worked hard for many years. It is now time to make a move that allows you new opportunities to rest, become rejuvenated, and experience new adventures. This is your opportunity to rediscover old passions and find a few new ones to pursue, which will help make the transition to independent living at The Esquiline even easier.
One of our friendly staff members will visit with you in your home to discuss what is important to you, what you hope to achieve with your new beginning, and how we can help make your transition easier. Once you’re here, we’ll help you get acquainted with the amenities, services, activities, and socialization opportunities we have available to you.
When family members contemplate a beloved parent or grandparent moving to an independent living or continuing care retirement community, one of the first questions they ask is: What is it like?
Faith has always been the foundation of your parent’s life. An avid churchgoer, they’ve always led by example. Giving to others has been a fundamental part of their life and belief system.
However, age is making it more difficult to fulfill their religious responsibilities. Bad weather, illness, and lack of transportation may contribute to your parent’s difficulty in participating.
As your parents get older, you may be introduced to a host of unfamiliar acronyms, such as IL, ADL, CCRC.
